I think you all have taken the car back to its roots. Many people don't know that cars were originally made out of wood. I'm from Jax but my roots are in Motown. I have an uncle in the concept field. One of my uncles works for Ford making concept engine. I had a cool opportunity to ride in a v 10 mustang. It had about 420 horses and a 6-speed tranny. I was the fastest thing on the street. It never made it to production.

Hey, Great concept. The designs look awesome! I hope this project works out for you. Kudos for thinking outside the box on building materials. My question is ...are any steps being made to ensure that the wood doesn't expand or crack due to conditions such as rain and humidity? Also what effect would solvents and heat from engine have on the vehicle? Thanks for building a concept no one else has done. It inspires others to see things with a different perspective. Keep up the great job!

Just visiting your site yet again. What's the latest estimate for when it might be test driven? I understand work on the engine was to start this fall .

Terribly exciting looking car, specs looks terrific if everything pans out. What are you plans for it after you get the degree and take it to the wood working show? Also, you should try and get it on Top Gear, that BBC show thats all about cars, or at least if it performs well. If you don't know about that show you should check it out, it airs on BBC America.

Excellent and Beautiful. Can't wait to see it run. I hope there is interest in a mini-documetary on the building the car.... hint , hint ! Here's to innovation.

Big ol' pat on the back to you and the crew - If you drive it to Kville, I'll have my can of "pledge" ready for you too .

Yeah, I was wondering about updates too, it has been a couple of weeks and I haven't seen much more than lights turning on and off on the cams in quite awhile. Would love to see this finished soon. Hope everything is okay!
